Brigham Women’s Physician Organisation partners with IKS Health
Through this partnership, BWPO will begin implementation of IKS’ Scribble services
Brigham Women’s Physicians Organization (BWPO), a leading global healthcare provider, has announced its new partnership with IKS Health, a premier healthcare solutions organisation, to address the demand for more detailed documentation, enable better patient and physician engagement, and increase practice efficiency.
Through this partnership, BWPO will begin implementation of IKS’ Scribble services in June 2019. Scribble allows more time for physician/patient interaction during clinical visits, frees up the physician schedule for additional patient access and reduces time spent on administrative tasks—giving doctors more time to care for both patients and themselves. Leveraging this technology, some physicians can spend up to 60 percent less time documenting data, saving 1-2 hours per day, and enabling them to see more patients.
“We are working to identify solutions that allow providers to focus on taking care of patients,” said BWPO’s chief medical officer, Dr Jessica Dudley. “By removing the burden of documentation requirements, IKS’ Scribble programme will enable doctors to be more present and engaged with patients, rather than focusing on the computer.”
