Cancer warriors celebrate resilience

HCG Cancer Centre Borivali organizes music, art, and talks event for cancer warriors.

HCG Cancer Centre Borivali, Mumbai organized activities for cancer warriors–survivors and patients–on World Cancer Day. The event, in collaboration with the Cancer Can Heal Foundation, was titled ‘The Power of Good Wishes’.

MLA Ms Manisha Ashok Chaudhary supported the initiative. The event had 200 participants, including patients, caregivers, and families. They showed their creativity through paintings and craftwork on a wish wall at the hospital.

A support group session, ‘Cancer Survivors Talk’, gave a platform for speakers and survivors to share their experiences.

George Alex, Regional Business Head, Maharashtra, Healthcare Global Enterprises Limited, said, “These initiatives foster compassion and strength among patients. HCG is committed to delivering care through medical expertise and technology.”
