Ruby Hall Clinic, a healthcare provider in Pune, inaugurated a new 12-bed intensive care unit (ICU), boosting its critical care services. The facility includes two private rooms and advanced equipment, enhancing the hospital’s ability to treat critically ill patients.
The new ICU was made with a generous donation from philanthropists Maharookh and Farrokh N Cooper of Cooper Corporation. The Coopers have funded various initiatives at Ruby Hall Clinic, including donations for ambulance, neonatal intensive care unit upgrades, and pediatric cardiac surgeries for the underprivileged communities.
“Ruby Hall Clinic is grateful to individuals like the Coopers, whose unwavering philanthropy has transformed our care delivery,” said Dr PK Grant, Chairman and Managing Trustee of Ruby Hall Clinic. “Their contributions, ranging from essential medical equipment to support for vulnerable populations, have significantly impacted our institution.”

Dr Prachee Sathe, Director of the Department of Critical Care Medicine at Ruby Hall Clinic, highlighted the importance of the new facility. “With the enhanced capabilities due to the new, modern ICU facility, we are better equipped to provide the highest level of care to patients during their most critical moments,” she said.
