The oral healthcare player in India, ICPA Health Products Ltd (ICPA), has donated sonography machine to the JB Mody Cancer Centre at Jayaben Modi Charitable Hospital in Ankleshwar, Bharuch district. Through this move, ICPA aims to promote cancer care.
This contribution supports the district’s first cancer radiation and chemotherapy center, recently inaugurated by Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel. The sonography machine’s advanced imaging capabilities aid medical professionals in planning interventions, guiding surgeries, and assessing treatment efficacy. This initiative underscores the vital role of technology in advancing cancer care.
ICPA’s Founder & Managing Director, Rohit Mehta, stated, “We’re dedicated to enhancing healthcare outcomes for our communities. The sonography machine offers a non-invasive, patient-friendly approach with real-time imaging guidance for minimally invasive procedures. This donation aims to ease the challenges faced by local cancer patients in accessing essential diagnostic services. It aligns with our mission to provide quality and affordable healthcare for all.”
Previously, cancer patients in Ankleshwar and neighboring areas had to travel to larger cities for treatment. The JB Mody Cancer Centre, established by Smt. Jayaben Mody Hospital, addresses this need by offering local access to vital cancer treatments, including OPD services, surgeries, and chemotherapy.
ICPA’s philanthropic efforts extend to healthcare and education. The company has donated advanced medical equipment to KEM Hospital, benefiting patient care. Additionally, it supports the underprivileged in Ankleshwar and promotes community welfare through initiatives like skill development programs, computer access for marginalized children, and water-harvesting projects in local schools.
