BioAsia 2024 is set to focus on collaboration between government and industry. With growing support from industry leaders worldwide, BioAsia 2024 aims to position India and Telangana as global innovation hubs in life sciences.

This life sciences and healthcare forum in Asia aims to foster discussions enriched with expertise in healthcare and technology. The event will feature five organizations as principal industry hosts. These are Novartis, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Bristol Meyers Squibb, Laurus Labs, and Sai Lifesciences. This underscores the eagerness of Indian and global multinationals to partner with the government for BioAsia.

Minister for Industries and Commerce, Government of Telangana, Sridhar Babu, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “BioAsia 2024 exemplifies the power of Government-Industry collaboration in driving innovation and shaping the future of the life sciences industry.”

The Principal Secretary, Industries & Commerce Dept., Government of Telangana, Jayesh Ranjan, highlighted the event’s commitment to fostering a vibrant ecosystem.

Hosted by the State Government of Telangana, BioAsia aims to advance industry growth by fostering collaborations, joint ventures, and mergers and acquisitions. CEO of BioAsia and Director of Telangana Life Sciences, Shakthi Nagappan, emphasized the region’s potential in integrated Life Sciences and Technology, positioning Telangana as an attractive destination for global companies.

BioAsia’s global influence is evident, with past editions attracting Nobel Prize winners, Lasker Awardees, and industry leaders. BioAsia 2023 saw participation from over 3000 global participants from 50+ countries, setting the stage for an impactful BioAsia 2024.

The event has attracted notable figures like Bill Gates, Satya Nadella, Alex Gorsky, Vas Narasimhan, Geoff Martha, alongside country ministers and delegates from across the globe. Post-pandemic, BioAsia 2023 was successful with virtual participation from over 3,000 global participants from 50+ countries. This year’s event is scheduled to be held on February 26, 27, and 28, 2024 at Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC).
