Amrita School of Medicine at Amrita Hospital, Faridabad, is preparing to welcome its first batch of 150 MBBS students in August. The counseling sessions for NEET-qualified candidates are underway. Amrita School of Medicine is part of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham.
Dr Sanjeev Singh, Medical Director, Amrita Hospital, Faridabad, expressed his excitement, saying, “The admission of the first batch of MBBS students at Amrita School of Medicine in Faridabad will be a moment for us as we approach the first anniversary of Amrita Hospital in August. We aim to provide the same academic standards, pedagogy, and infrastructure that our Kochi campus is known for.”

Dr Singh emphasized the ability for parents to track their child’s progress through the university management system. He stated, “Medical education has evolved, and the competency and skillset of our faculty are crucial in mentoring future doctors. To foster interactive learning, faculty members can upload presentations and FAQs to our learning management system.”
Dr Singh further added that the students would be exposed to medical technology, including simulation labs, robotics, and digital health. The focus on research is also emphasized.
Colonel BK Mishra, Principal of Amrita School of Medicine, Faridabad, highlighted the institution’s association with the 2,600-bed Amrita Hospital. He highlighted the educational experience provided to students, with teaching faculty recruited from top medical colleges in developed countries. The infrastructure includes a Simulation Learning & Development Center, he informed.
Apart from the School of Medicine, the Amrita Hospital Campus in Faridabad also houses a Nursing College and an Allied Health Sciences College. Amrita School of Medicine in Faridabad is the eighth campus of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. It carries forward the legacy of the Amrita School of Medicine in Kochi.
