Gurugram corporates get 5G medical room

5G medical room to provide speedy medical response for corporate employees.

Medulance, an emergency medical service provider, launched India’s first 5G-enabled ‘Smart Medical Room’ in Gurugram, aiming to reduce response time for corporate healthcare. The 5G medical room, located at Good Earth Business Bay II, utilizes 5G connectivity to link patients, paramedics, and doctors for real-time data sharing and faster treatment during emergencies.

At the 5G medical room, smart devices send patient data as waveforms to emergency room (ER) dashboards, enabling remote assessment and guidance for paramedics. Two-way audio-video communication allows doctors to virtually consult and guide treatment while the patient is transported to the hospital. 5G technology facilitates rapid data transfer, lowering response times to under four minutes, crucial for improving treatment outcomes.

Being closer to the corporates, the medical room assures immediate care, first aid, and consultations, promoting preventive care to corporate employees, thus, boosting attendance and productivity. Early diagnosis and intervention promises to reduce healthcare costs and mitigate workplace emergencies.

Pranav Bajaj, Co-Founder, Medulance, says, “This isn’t just a medical room, it’s a ‘mediclinic.’ We can do much more for patients, including remote consultations with doctors and real-time vital sign sharing.”

Meeta Khurana, Director, Good Earth Infra, says, “We’re committed to employee safety and well-being. This 5G medical room complements our efforts to provide a safe and healthy work environment.”
