India’s first True Beam HyperArc facility launched at KMCH
The system automates and simplifies complex treatments and reduces treatment time substantially
Kovai Medical center and hospital (KMCH) has launched for the first time In India a state-of-the-art linear accelerator, The Varian true beam HyperArc in its radiation oncology department. The launch happened in the presence of Prof Dr V Shanta, the chairman of Adyar Cancer Institute who’s name is synonymous with cancer care. Dr Shanta had graciously consented to inaugurate the equipment and delivered a keynote address in the CME programme.
With unmatched precision, speed and safety for the patients, the new technology will set new benchmarks in radiation oncology. KMCH takes immense pride in dedicating the First ever HyperArc machine in India to the service of patients of this region.
